Delahunty Nursery Plant Auction 2024

We've had a lot people ask just how it works? Here's the scoop:

• You will need to pre-register online or in store prior to the day of the auction.
• A $50 deposit is required for registration. This deposit will be applied to your purchases the day of the auction. If your purchase does not exceed the deposit you will be refunded the difference. (We are asking this year for the deposit to ensure participants who have won their bids don’t leave before cashing out.)
• Online preview day will start October 2nd.
• In-person preview days will be October 2nd, 3rd & 4th.
• Check-in begins at 8:30 am, the day of the auction.
• ​You will receive a bidder card with your bidder number on it. The auctioneer (Doug Martin - Paula Martin Group - Auctioneer #2933) will start the bidding at a very low price and work up from there.
• If you win the bid we will track the purchase, mark the item with a sold tag, and then move onto the next item.
• You can stay for the whole auction or check out at any time.
• This is a very casual auction. If you have never participated in an auction this is a really good auction to test the waters with. A tree that may normally retail for $450 may start at $35.
• We ask that all material is picked up or set up for delivery by October 19th. If product is not gone by October 19th, 2024, a $50 per week holding fee will be charged.
• For an additional fee we can deliver items you purchase at the auction within a 10 mile radius of our store. 
• We do offer planting services for items you purchase at an additional charge of 70% of the regular retail of each plant. 
• There is no warranty, exchanges or returns on any items purchased at the auction.
• When checking out please be patient and courteous, we will only have 2 registers in the office. Because of this it may take a little longer to get rung out.
• A food truck (TBD) will be on site from 12-2pm.
• The NH Guitar All Star Band will be preforming live music from 12-2pm.
